Yeah, found the bookmark--it's in my journal so I don't have to flip through pages.
The cinnamon circle mints are SOOOOOO GOOD. Sera agrees. =D

Today's really hot and icky. The forecast was code yellow, 92degrees. Apparently the fireworks place is crowded and full of bugs. But they said to bring a towel, so I'm glad you gave me extras!

We played that German song, Sonata from Bakensangerlieder or whatever. It went pretty well, considering that we hadn't played in an hour. But no one really cared, because we were preceeded by some people with not abundant amounts of talent. And it was a "variety show", so they didn't have to have talent to be there.

We played two movements of the Holst suite [the first two in reverse order] for the weekly "share" among the music people. The percussionists are GOOD...

The Music Library is closed today and on weekends, so I can't get to it until Monday. ;_; Oh well.

I don't think Ginnie knows what AYP group she got into--she hasn't said anything. I can't figure out a way to bring it up... But Alan knows.
I talked to Alan about college stuff too. He was saying Perantoni and Pilafian are really good.
The bad thing about taking the tuba down to the "share" place was that I accidentially left my music pocket open. It wouldn't have been that bad if there hadn't been rain before. It fell right into a PUDDLE. ;_; Alan says it'll be alright, though--it's airing in the music hall basement.

It's actually pretty crowded here... probably because no one can get on tonight. We get dinner at 4:30 because we're leaving for the fireworks ridiculously early. We're leaving at 5:45. ...Doesn't the sun set at 8???
I hope they sell glowsticks... I've been debating whether to take my camera for pictures of the fireworks... I guess I can just take the case to put stuff in. I don't want it to get pickpocketed!

Also, I decided sort of last minute to order two gov school shirts. [we get to pick colors-- I can't remember if I told you that]. I got a green one [it's not neon or forest, it's in the middle] for me and a "cardinal" one for dad, since I figured he wears out shirts a lot. But now I have to find something to get you!

Tomorrow'll be interesting. We have our first "forum" class, and we have the first dance. Megan said we could bring a book or play pool [we just had to stay in the building], so I'm thinking I'll be reading a lot. =D
