Today's weather's been really weird... it's gone from hot, to windy, to cool, to muggy, etc. Every time I go outside it's different.
[EDIT: Shit. Sorry about that. I realized what I did about 10 mintues ago. ><;;; Brainwashing, anyone?]
Nothing else really interesting happened today, except for the last hour.5 we've been decorating our hall [it was a random competition that started], using our totally random theme, "Cajun Kingdom." Some of the girls from the other halls came down to look, and one said, "We've been one-upped again." =D
We're definitely going on the trip on Thursday, to the Appomattox [or whatever] Governor's School. Just the brass people-- we get a whole bus to ourselves. =D The only thing I'm worried about is getting the tuba there. I guess I'll just be extra careful.
There's an optional talent show tonight. We're not in it, so I'll probably ony go for part of it [after dinner and after I do my theory homework].
One of the girls in our hall had to leave because she had mono. That's sad, but now they're all freaking out that we might get it. I sure hope not, since it's only the second week! But webMD says "The incubation period for developing mono is 30 to 50 days (4 to 6 weeks)," so even if we got it, we'd find out after gov school.
