First part refers to Art Crackers pictures... I'm not linking to those. =P
You weren't supposed to see those pictures! *grr* He came in and got his camera out, and we all groaned really loudly... At least he didn't take pictures the WHOLE time... It was hard to do the stuff because my knee was hurting at the time [I think I hurt it again when I walked down to the Commons for the variety show because of the way I walked down the stairs].
I want it to rain again! Then it wouldn't be soooooo hot! At least the buildings are pretty cold, but walking to places is a workout...
I'm sure we have SOME band credits. I mean, all the citrus and stuff.
Are you that tight on money? You'd better not be. =P
Oh, it turns out Sera's mom's birthday was yesterday-- the same day as Nana. I thought that was amusing...
Tomorrow is laundry day! What fun. I realized I don't -quite- have enough clothes for next week, but I'll make it work [I just need to bring and extra set or so of undergarments on parents day. Don't send THAT in the mail. =P ]
I hope I have time to take a shower tonight... I guess I can do it after dinner, before the dance.
Tomorrow is weird. They need to give us the schedule so I know what's going on.
We had ---3.5--- hours of Art Crackers today! That class is a LOT different than I thought it would be... I really hope they let us DO art some time...
We did more dance stuff [no camera, luckily!], then we started looking at visual art. He had some WEIRD pieces, and all the ones I hated everyone else liked. And vice versa.
There was that one of the pipe that says [in French] "this is not a pipe," and that one was cool, but most everyone hated it.
And a nice Renaissance one [that I keep thinking we saw in a gallery in Italy, but I'm not sure] that had a bunch of people in it, and everyone hated that one. Probably because they were all Christian and for some reason thought it was insulting to their faith, even though the Renaissance people were all Christian....
Breakfast and lunch today weren't very good. They didn't have any warm food for breakfast, and they didn't have the burger place at all during lunch, which was a choice between pasta alfredo w/ salmon, "thai rice," and french toast sticks. The first two were aaaaawful, and the french toast sticks just weren't very filling, and very fattening.
But at least this is the first day that we've had less-than-satisfactory meals.
The "brass masterclass" forum wasn't much of a masterclass, more of a giant lesson with a few people playing solos at the end. Oh well.
