About lack of e-mailing/posting yesterday: "Sorry about not responding. I didn't have any time to check e-mail yesterday, and I'm really lucky that my next share is just upstairs from here [it's in the library media center thing]."
We don't have much time to pack tonight [we have 2 hours to eat dinner, get ready for the dance, pack, move my tuba to the dorm, AND get to the Robins Center--very far away].
...
I'm so glad our group doesn't have to share anymore. I know -I- was getting tired of it, and even though a few people apparently found it entertaining, I know a lot found it boring. We still have... too many groups to go and see. And apparently we have to actually dance at the dance share.
We're probably having a "slumber party" tonight on our hall, so we'll be staying up even later than usual. But Sera's gonna teach me how to play her guitar, and we're gonna do lots of random things for our last night together.
...I don't want to leave all of my hall friends... I can pretty much/sorta deal with leaving my course 1, but my hall... ;_;

We worked in stupid groups to make our "share" presentations for music. It was annoying, because the groups were totally random, so we had 2 brass, 1 percussion, 2 piano, 2 woodwind, 1 singer, and 0 strings. I wasn't really in a very good mood because I didn't have anything I could think of to contribute.
Our last course 2 is in 45 minutes. I don't know what we're gonna do. It's sad. It's one of the first official signs that everything is winding down. I wish I could keep learning about modern art, and about theory, and music history, and brass playing. I really don't want to wait until college for that stuff again...
There're a bunch of optional things to do tonight. I'm gonna go watch the theatre "open mic" show [by request of the theatre kids], and then listen to Funk Connection [the jazz/funk band] and the Governors [the guy singers]. Then I guess I'll have the rest of the night free.

Last night we listened to this guy talk about Poe's horrible, horrible life. It was sort of interesting, in a morbid way... He had a book for sale, and the $ goes to fund reading programs or something, so I figured Ms. Seavey might like it. It has weird life stories and things about [I think] 18 different authors.
How about, to even out dad's $10 present, I just give you $10 back? ^^;
The FINAL talent show [mandatory, and in one of the concert halls] starts in an hour. I can't wait--it's supposed to be hilarious. As well as the amaaaazing musical acts.
We took a field trip to play for little kids at a daycare We were expecting ~100 middle schoolers and got ~30 mid-elementary school kids... It was also really hot, because we were in an old smelly chapel with no air conditioning. But, because the kids were so little, the acts were amusing and short. And then we got to go to Tower Records/Dairy Queen/Starbucks. I didn't go to Starbucks because it was crowded and looked intimidating [I asked Ginnie what she got, but didn't understand most of it]. I got a milkshake and, as I said, I browsed Tower.
I think it's pouring outside, or at least the storm's getting closer and closer--I better leave soon...

I'd talk about today/yesterday, but I'm supposed to be meeting with my Art Crackers group in 3 minutes.
I got a package from Betsy! And I have noooo free time today. Sadly.

We didn't do much today... Nothing else to do until 8pm, either. Besides dinner.
I PRACTICED PIANO for a while, then worked on theory stuff for another hour. I really wish I could come up with a decent composition to expand into "a 20 minute piece." And we have, like, one class left.
They didn't have much to eat at brunch, so I had one of the cup noodles. Then we listened to people talk about the "reentry" process. It's gonna be sad, but it's not gonna be THAT sad, since I'm just going back to another Gov school. Well, I -hope- it's not gonna be that sad.
The dance was... okay. They made me dance, but it wasn't that bad. My outfit [apparently] actually looked mildly Italian, which is weird since I just sort of put on my shirt uniquely and declared myself Italian. I drew a picture of part of the Commons for the Art Crackers project.
Quailman from "Doug"
People on my hall:
Ellyce [sp?] and Jane
Caitlyn and Graham [who is NOT on our hall =P]
Jesse
And, from the movie night:
blue/red shirt: Deniz. white shirt/sitting: Sera. white shirt/laying down: Meredith. girl behind Meredith: Jane. Across the aisle [left to right]: Carla, Halley, me. Phoung's laying down, but you can't see her face.
